intentional coaching

Coaching Huddles are environments and processes to engage with ongoing support and accountability to develop their Christlike character and competencies in missional discipleship.

We have found that huddles are a great vehicle for discipling key leaders in a variety of contexts. Huddles support and challenge leaders to grow in their personal discipleship and kingdom responsibility, facilitates leaders in hearing what God is saying and encourages response to His voice. This enables leaders to grow in character and competency as well as providing a structure of accountability within Church leadership. Reflecting our understanding that each one of us is both a follower and a leader, our leaders are both called into a huddle, where they are led, and over time will call others into a huddle that they lead.

learning circle

The primary tool used to facilitate the huddle process is the Learning Circle which helps us to identify how God is challenging us to change or expand the way we think (repent) and then step out in faith based on this new way of thinking (believe). The huddle environment provides a place of accountability for this process to be fully worked out.

God highlights areas in our lives that He wants to address not to condemn us, but to set us free. His desire is to speak His word into our lives – this is powerful to bring about transformation as we seek to build our lives on Him. Applying the Learning Circle (hearing and responding) will help us to put the words God gives us into practice and see our faith continue to grow. Some simple examples:

Hearing

What have you heard from God as you worship and pray, read the Bible, listen to others, listen to God’s spirit?

Response

In what ways has this birthed faith in you? Where do you feel challenged to step out? What do you plan to do in response to what you’ve heard?
